Many times, I’ve asked time to wait
I always learn my lessons too late
Retrospect is just a useless friend
Constant wisdom on the mend
My, oh, my, they say "time will fly"
So I try not to imagine the day I'll die
Peering into creases of lives I’ve had
Some of them were not so bad
Still I can’t really seem to let it go at all, oh
If I collapse, I’ll surely fall
Down where hindsight will take a look
Who even wrote this book?
Many times, I’ve asked time to wait
I always learn my lessons too late
Retrospect is just a useless friend
Constant wisdom on the mend
Hold on a minute now, stop that sand
I’m not ready for it all to fall through my hands
I think I liked it better playing by some script
Than this open book I don’t know how to fill in
Hold on a minute now, stop that page
I just barely started learning from that stage
Down I go into hindsight again
And I forgot my pen
Many times, I’ve asked time to wait
I always learn my lessons too late
Retrospect is just a useless friend
Constant wisdom on the mend
Retrospect is just a useless friend
Constant wisdom on the mend

It is one thing to listen to 8via on Twitch and another to be carried track by track on the totally journey she has amassed in this album. Each song supports the next one. coachshipley

Danielle has such an incredible voice. Matched with the theme and music it is a masterpiece. So ethereal. The title track, Invader, really is an apex on this album. Goldisocks
